Mission Statement: Provide programs, support, education and advocacy to people with developmental disabilities and/or mental retardation, their families and others involved in their lives: to empower individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental retardation, which will allow them to realize a better quality of life. Vision Statement: The Arc of Lincoln/Lancaster County will be recognized as the premier support organization by the citizens of Lincoln and Lancaster County as the best organization to go to for information and support relative to improving the lifestyles of individuals with mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities. |
Mission Statement: The Arc of the United States advocates for the rights and full participation of all children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Together with our network of members and affiliated chapters, we improve systems of supports and services; connect families; inspire communities and influence public policy. The Arc believes in:
