Be Healthy Inclusive Project (BeHIP)
The Be Healthy Inculsive Project is a new program funded by a grant from the Community Health Endowment of Lincoln to The Arc of Lincoln. The Arc is working with Lincoln Parks and Recreation, the YMCA, and Fritz & O’Hare Associates consulting group to provide inclusion opportunities for Lincoln individuals with developmental disabilities. Through BeHIP, individuals with disabilites will be provided with supports to allow them to participate in specific programs, such as team sports, dance, swim classes, etc. A wide range of supports can be provided, depending upon the individual’s needs.
