Teri Roberts has
been executive director for six years. She brought years of experience
in public health and human services to the Arc in 2001 as the Director
of Individual and Family Support Services. She was promoted the
following year. Teri is often heard saying how much she loves her
job and the people she serves.
Dina Hohn is the
new Program Director of Individual, Family and Support Services.
She previously worked as the Training Coordinator for Nebraska
Workforce Development-Department of Labor in their Organizational
Development Office. Dina enjoys spending time with her family and
friends and is currently working on a degree in Human Relations
through Doane College.
Maggie Killeen was
hired in October of 2007 as an Individual & Family Support
Services Coordinator. Some of her main activities are planning
Family Connections, Sibshops and helping with fundraisers.
Teresa Bergman is
also an Individual
& Family Support Services Coordinator. She has been employed
at the Arc for 2 1/2 years. Some of her main duties are People
First and People First Junior, Service Provider Round Table meetings,
data collection for United Way, fundraisers, as well as her new
duty as newsletter coordinator.
Vickie Young has
been with the Arc for 1 ½ years and transferred from the
IFSS to the Arc Expedition Vacation program in July 2007 as Director.
She is very excited about the 2008 vacations she has planned. Under
her guidance, Arc Expeditions will be traveling for the first time
ever to South Africa’s Kruger Nat’l Park in 2009.
Tina McHugh is
the newest Arc employee, beginning this January as an administrative/accounting
assistant. She is a graduate of Doane College, Lincoln Campus with
a bachelor's degree in accounting, and has most recently worked
as the accounting assistant at a downtown Lincoln law firm.
Claire Moore was
hired October of 2007 as the Arc Expeditions Facilitator. Claire
assists in making travel arrangements and record keeping for Arc
vacationers.
Debbi White is
the manager of the Thrift Store. She joined the staff this past
year.
Mike Roberts is
the assistant manager of the Thrift Store, and he uses his strong
carpentry skills to "build
up" the store.
